Love this device!,

Pros: No more scraping windows! Cons: No thermostat to automatically control interior temps
"I bought my Zerostart interior car warmer approximately a month ago for my Hyundai Sonata, and I *really* love it. I haven't had to scrape windows since then, and haven't had to clear too much snow, either. One drawback is that once it's plugged in, it runs all the time because it's not controlled by a thermostat. That one enhancement would make this the perfect solution for those of us who don't have a garage. Anyway, I solved that problem by purchasing a heavy-duty indoor lamp timer (the kind that makes it look like you're at home when you're actually on vacation). Be sure to get the heavy duty model with the three-prong plug outlets! (Most of them have 2-prong outlets, only.) I ran the extension cord from the back of the house into my car, plugged the female end into the lamp timer, then plugged the Zerostart warmer into the timer. Works like a charm, and my heater runs about 2 hours in the morning before I leave for work. If you hate scraping windows as much as I do (and that's a LOT), then this is the perfect solution for you, too!"

Defrost windows - yes. Warm car - ?,

Pros: High Quality Product. Very hot air comes out of this unit. Cons: Its very hard to warm up a whole interior of a SUV
"This is my first winter owning this product. My opinion is based on owning a Grand Cherokee.
Depending on what your looking for this unit is good if you want the frost off your windows in mild cold weather. In very cold weather I have to run it for 45 minutes in the morning to clear heavy frost or light icing on my windshield.
Snow will just brush off with no ice scraping necessary which is just great! Don't expect your interior to be hot though.
I would say the higher up in the car you can mount it the better. If its on the floor your just going to heat the bottoms of a seat. I mounted mine under the glove box and their is plenty of room for peoples feet, but they tend to kick it when they get in."

Pros: Keeps car nice and toasty Cons: No thermostat
"This unit stays running the whole time it is plugged in. I thought maybe it would have a thermostat, but it doesn't. Unless it's below 32 degrees, makes my car feel like a sauna. Overall, worth the bye. Helps take the chill out of winter."
