Cons: My wife keeps taking it for her SUV.

"I read in some reviews that the bar was difficult to use initially, but that isn't the case. Push a button and press a lever and set it, that's it."

Pros: heavy duty (strong), stays in place, easy to release
Cons: None -- I got confused at first on which way to twist the bar to tighten.

"I have a cover for my 98 Ford Ranger bed and it is convenient to rig the cargo bar + net toward the back and I can drop the tail gate and put groceries into the net hanging from the bar. I've used it to restrict my law mower gas can from moving. Before I couldn't put it in the bed for fear of tipping over."

Pros: The price for this product..well worth getting it. It serves its purpose well.
Cons: A little hard to figure out how it works at first observation.

"I suggest that if you want to carry a mower, cooler, or grill and anything of that nature that you make this small investment and you too will be thoroughly pleased. This bar cuts down significantly on the movement of things in the bed of the truck. Thanks JC"

"Overall a pretty good product. The description led me to believe you could tighten it by racheting but instead you rachet out until it is close then turn to tighten. I have 3 other cargo bars that turn to tighten and it is hard to get tight enough but this one is of sturdier material so should work well. I also have a commercial cargo bar. It holds well but is very heavy making this one easier to use as it is only about half the weight."

"This is great to have in the truck when out shopping. In the past my packages slid all around the bed and I'd have to crawl under the tonneau to pull them back to the tailgate. (It's too cold in December to take time to roll the tonneau back!) This year, I opened my tailgate and there they were. Really sturdy and a great price to boot!"
