Front bumper for 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, May 16, 2008

Appearance: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5
Ease of Use/Installation: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5
Quality/Construction: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

Pros: Exact fit. Reasonably priced.
Cons: None.

"This is an exact replacement for Jeep Wrangler front bumper.
All holes are in the exact locations as the original.

It took me two hours to replace bumper at a leisurely pace. Having done it once, could probably knock 45 minutes off the job next time.

It's a reasonably priced, quality product.

Best fix for a banged up bumper, September 6, 2007
By beachheelshock from '06 Unlimited in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Ease of Use/Installation: 4 out of 5 4 out of 5
Quality/Construction: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

Pros: Direct replacement -- looks and feels like a brand new Mopar bumper
Cons: The pre-drilled holes for the bumper ends were a little off, making for a difficult re-install of the ends

"This was an economical fix for my '06 Wrangler Unlimited. I had driven down a bank and buried the bumper into the ground. It was a pretty good bend, so I was looking to replace it.

The Crown Automotive is a great direct replacement for the OE front bumper. I didn't price the Mopar replacement, but I'm pretty sure the dealer can't replace it for this price point.
It comes pre-drilled, just like the OE. I was able to reinstall my fog lights and those rubber bumperettes on the front. The only holes that were a little off were for the bumper ends. I ended up having to finagle the bolts at an angle to get them in there, but in the end it all worked out.

So, if you've got a banged up bumper, and you're not looking for a serious upgrade, why not just throw one of these back on your ride?
