"I had a single E-turbo in my Grand Am. Now, the only "upgrades" if you will call them that, that my Grand Am had was a Cold Air intake, royal purple, and the plenum had a little bit of P&P done. Stock Exhaust, and everything else. When I had the E-turbo equipped to the Grand Am, I ran a 10.849 in the 1/8th mile at Kil Kare dragway in Xenia, Ohio. I later found out that the 10.849 was achieved on a damaged Wheel hub bearing and a CV Axel shaft. After having the CV Axel shaft replaced, and the wheel hub bearing replaced, the E-turbo was taken off of the car. I ran again at Kil-Kare dragway in Xenia, Ohio on almost exact weather conditions, and I ran a 11.25 in the 1/8th, and my fastest being 11.05 with no filter.
In my experience, the E-turbo worked on the grand am, at LEAST giving it .3 tenths of a second, and in racing, 3 tenths count. I lost my last race at the track with that car by .0170, if I had the E-turbo, I would've won easy. However, I ran SLOWER with the E-turbo off of the car with BRAND NEW CV axels and Wheel hub bearings. When I had the E-turbo on the car, the Wheel hub bearing was to the point it was about to fall off, and I still ran a *10.849* in the 1/8th mile...and that was on a random miss in the engine. I can only imagine what I would've ran without the random miss, the new parts, and the e-turbo.
But I would recommend these E-turbo's to anyone who's looking for performance on demand. No ford's, mazda', audi...Ford makes basically...not sure if they don't work on ALL ford makes."
