"'97 Dodge Ram 3500 Dually

I was very pleased with this product however I had the misfortune of having it fall off while traveling a very bumpy road so I had to order another one. I think I'll have my new one welded on!
If you clamp yours on be sure to check for tightness periodically. I did'nt and it cost me."

It Would Be 5 Star Except for two Minor Details, February 22, 2007

"Only the first 2" of the end of the tip which joins to the existing pipe is expanded to fit over the existing pipe. So if the tip sticks out to far you have to cut the existing exhaust, you can't cut the tip. If you do you will either lose the expansion preventing it from sliding over the existing pipe or you will lose the rolled edge if you cut the other end. If the tip's internal dimension was the same as the exhaust pipes external dimension through it's entire length then you could simply slide the tip on however far you wanted without any cutting to achieve the best appearance!

The only other minor drawback is the rolled edge tapered tip has a small hole drilled in the tip at the very bottom of the taper and the hole was drilled from the outside in. This presents a couple of problems, if you want to rotate the tip for a side outlet application you need to drill another hole to ensure it's at the bottom or 6:00 position to ensure any water accumulation drains. Either deburr the hole after drilling if drilled from the outside in or drill the hole from inside out to ensure the water drains. It won't if you don't do these things. This isn't something the manufacture can correct (other than removing the burr from the existing hole after drilling) because they have no idea how you intend on orientating the tip!"

"I recently purchased this exhaust tip for my 2004 Dodge Turbo Diesel Cummins Dually.

The quality of the actual product really surprised me. It is fully polished and not one opaque spot on the entire thing. Perfectly cut and very easy to install.

It does come with a clamp like device at the end to bolt it to the existing exhaust system. I measured it up and took it to my local muffler shop and had them weld it solid all the way around.
Doing this will give you the best sound out of the tip.

Very good buy. I really recommend it for other people to buy."
