"I purchased the mirrors for my 89 jeep wrangler and they are listed as a direct replacement. I found that if your jeep does not have a right mirror from the factory the following needs to be done; remove the right upper door hinge and tape the new mirror mount to it just as the left mounts, use a 1/4 inch drill bit to mark the center of the 3 holes you need to drill, now use a .201 bit to drill the 3 holes and tap the holes with a 1/4-20 tap. Now install hinge back on vehicle and mount the new mirror to the hinge. Time to install was 45 minutes, the mirrors look like the factory models."
