Excellant purchase,December 11, 2008
By Gomezy3kfrom Las Vegas
Pros: It fit perfectly and the seams were well made. Cons: It is lighter material than the original top
"I bought it and when it arrived it was in a box that was nowhere near big enough or so I though. I emptied it and everything was there. It was much lighter than my original top that I was replacing. I had my doubts about it, but I put it out in the sun and removed the old top, and the new one went right on with no problems. I can now see out the windows, the zippers actually work well and I was surprised that it didn't make a lot of wind noise. It is an excellant value for the money and I would recommend it to anyone."

A good top...no problems,January 31, 2007
By SurferJoe46from Near Palm Springs, California
"This is the second time I bought this top...the first was destroyed in an accident which I cannot blame on the top at all.
Originally, I had the first top for three years without any troubles at all..it's tight, dry and DOES NOT HAVE ANY MOLD!. The other guy probably kept his Amigo under a waterfall.
My ONLY problem was that I had to install it in the direct sunshine as the fabric gets smaller when it's cold. This was only after the first couple of years anyway...and MIGHT have been from my using a sealer on it..which it really didn't need.
The stitching is still tight and it doesn't flap in the wind. All threads are still intact..but the top is needing to be replaced from the accidental damage.
I wish I had a choice of tinted side windows though. They are legal if you have rear view mirrors, which the Amigo does.
I have no problems advising others to buy this top..I have even seen one or two in junkyards, still looking good except for tears and crushed frames that the top could not survive in any case.
This top will be in direct sunshine almost all of the time...it never faded before and I expect it won't this time either. No dry rot or frayed fabric either."
