"Since I put this intake system on my 1999 Dodge 1500 5.9L, I am getting the best gas millage I could have ever imagined. There is absolutely no hesitation what so ever when I hit the gas. The system is so easy to install it only took me 15 minutes from start to testing the performance. The system fits like a glove and best of all replaces the entire stock intake system. Now instead of haveing to remove the entire system to replace the filter, it is right there in front of me. I am going to put this system on every vehicle I own. Thank you for such a great product."

Pros: nice sound and improved acceleration
"i installed this product on my 2002 jeep wrangler x 4.0l 6cyl. it made quite a difference in my acceleration and makes a cool sound under the hood. very east to install. had it in in about half an hour with very basic tools. havent noticed anything with fuel economy yet but im sure it will help."

Pros: easy to install for the most part, simple to figure out, looks good under the hood Cons: didn't really notice a difference, then again maybe i may have installed something wrong
"I put this on my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L. The instructions to install are simple, but the pictures and diagrams they provide are a little hard to see. This product is very easy to figure out though if you can't understand the directions. One thing that I didn't like was that the little hose clamps they give you are kind of too small. It took me close to 20 minutes to connect the filter to the tubing and put a hose clamp on it. The hose clamp barely fits. It's a 108mm clamp and it would have been nice if they provided you with one that was maybe 115mm instead or something. Maybe I was doing something wrong but there didn't seem like there was any other way. Atleast in the instructions it warned me that it was going to be a tight fit. When i finally got it installed I didn't notice a difference really, except for the little high pitched whistling sound it made. I also had to cut the little spacer bar that is included a half of an inch shorter to get it mounted to the engine, that wasn't a big deal though. I've only had it on for two days and i havent driven my truck much so I'm not able to tell if it made a difference in the gas mileage or not yet. I had a K&N on an old car i had before i got my truck and i noticed a huge difference with that. I'm curious to see what a K&N would be like on my truck. I probably should have gone with that. JC Whitney did a fantastic job with the shipping however. It arrived at my door 4 days after i ordered it, and that was just with standard shipping. In the order confirmation email i got, it said it had to be shipped from the factory and it was going to take roughly 2 weeks. I was extremely surprised it showed up 4 days after i ordered it. It arrived 7 days before it was even supposed to be shipped from the factory. A+++ on that aspect."

"I run 33" tires on my 07 Jeep unlimited and it would bog down in the sand. I installed the kit in under an hour with no drilling, simple. The extra kick in the low RPM range is very noticeable. Where I would have to be in 1st I can now drive in 2nd. Very happy with the purchase."

"took about 45 minutes to install, very thorough kit. Immediately noticed a difference in acceleration, and makes great noise from under the hood. Haven't checked mileage yet but it seems like it has improved a mile or two a gallon."

"I added this to my 2004 Pontiac Vibe. Wow ! It sounds great ! when you step on the gas you feel the difference. Quicker acceleration. I've seen my gas Mileage increase 3% and I have lead foot. This is a great product. Be warned the directions are hard to see, and the pictures are way too small to see, but you can figure it out in no time. I had to wait for this to be shipped from the factory almost a month, but in the end it was more than worth the wait ! Trust me, just buy it !"

"This cold air intake is the most incredible intake on the market! I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L V8 Magnum, and the power gain's I recieved with this product were amazing. Almost brought tears of joy to my eyes! When you recieve the product, everything is completly sealed and seperated for ease of installation. Depending on your vehicle, the stock air filter comes off easy, and in less than 30 minutes, BOOM! You have the cold-air installed. It's a simple installation, yet the results seem...unworldly. cold air intake after installed
Pros: Great quality, custom fit, sounds great. Cons: Needs more variety of finishes.
"I put it on my 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3. Not only did it clean up the look of the engine compartment, but it actually fit with no extra fabrications. The air box that the air filter fits inside of is metal, none of that cheap flimsy plastic stuff. The air box fits into the space where the OLD factory air box was, and lines perfectly up with the exsisting holes, so you can use the fatory screws. The intake tubes are heavy thick rubber and fit onto the Mass air flow sensor with no problems. After the install and the truck running, theres NO check engine light on and the idle was the same. Hitting the gas, you can really hear the air intake. I noticed while on the interstate my RPMs read only 2,000 while going 78mph. So hopefully the less RPMs will mean more gas milage. All in all the air intake system is AWESOME."
