Great for looks, not so great for functionality, January 1, 2009
By lifurg from Tolleson, AZ

Pros: Looks good
Cons: Held with 4 very small screws, limited room for cap removal, no stop on lock

"If your going for looks, this gas cap looks great when installed. Unfortunately to get the looks some of the functionality was sacrificed. The cap is only held on with 4 very tiny screws that are difficult to install, there is no stop on the lock meaning that it turns in either direction, and there is limited room for removing the cap."

"Installed this item on my 1999 Jeep Wrangler and it was so easy. Just needed to take out the four screws on the gas tank, place the fuel door over it and screwed it in with the new screws that came with the door. It looks great and now I have a lock on my Fuel cap door. With the price of gas I think this is a good thing to have."

"Really dresses up the side view of my truck. Have had several complements in the short time I've had it installed. Easy to install. No drilling or modifications to the existing hatch. Was done in about a half hour."
