Cons: Does not fit very well

"Had to drill and cut heat shield to make fit on a Chevy 1500.
Intake sits right on top of hot radiator hose with no possible adjustment.
Rubber vibration mount is junk and attached with glue! Had to fabricate my own mount.
Installation dissapointing. Not perfect fit and easy like a K&N.
Did not hear difference like I had with other intakes.
Not confidence inspiring like a K&N. I would spend the money and go with another brand."

"As the person before me said the rubber bolt needs to be redesigned the rubber bolt sheared off after about 4 months of use.

Other than that this is a great product and easy to install."

Pros: Easy to install. All the parts were there which is sometimes a problem, the instructions were clear and adequate.
Cons: Cushion bolt that mounts to fender well needs to be redesigned.

"Everything fit up very well until I got to the "cushion" bolt. Using the locking nuts that were provide caused the rubber cushion to break in half. The bolt needs to be 1 piece and the rubber formed around it to keep it from tearing."

"Installed in about 30-40 minutes by myself. Used the original PVC hose, and everything else matched up perfectly. Went for a ride, and was amazed at the awesome sound it produced!
I was getting about 6-8 miles per gallon in my 2001 Dodge 1500 4WD with auto trans and 5.2 engine. I am now getting a ducumented 12 MPG!!! That is an increase of 50% fuel economy, I was totally amazed, I should have done this a long time ago..."

Pros: Easy installation - good instructional manual
Cons: None

"This was very easy to install. Took about 30 minutes - probably could have done it quicker if I were a mechanic. Instructions were clear and precise. I have noticed for the past few tanks of gas that it has increased an average of 35-50 miles more per tank not to mention the performance. It will pay for itself shortly."

Pros: Easy installation, Performance increase, Cost compared to K&N
Cons: Beather Hose too short, Directions slightly incorrect

"The valve cover breather hose was too short for my 5.9L engine. I had to purchase a 3' long 5/8" heater hose to connect the breather outlet on the air intake to the valve cover breather inlet- which is on the opposite side of the engine. The directions from Spectre show a connection from the PCV valve to the air intake system- those directions are not correct.
Overall, this system is awesome. It installed easily without any modifications. I can't comment on whether there is any increase in MPG, but it definitely won't hurt. For the price, it can't be beat."

Pros: The system is great. Easy to install and I already see an increase in performance.
Cons: No cons as of yet and I have had the system for two weeks.

Pros: easy to install take your time read directions and it will fit reset amd move sensor running over top or will scratch
Cons: none you will fill and hear difference at start up buy this not K&N save $$$$ same product

"this was so easy to do just take time follow directions the effects are awesome and the results in fuel will follow if you keep your foot out of it if you want more add a magna flow muffler for more sound and savings I have a 4.8 sierra went from 13 to 16.8 mpg!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I think it can be better with new plugs Also Magna flow to me sounds better than flow master"
