Pros: works well and imporves the engines perfomrance Cons: Cap was the wrong size and seal was wrong size
"The distributor arrived quickly and was packaged well. When I tried to install it the seal was too large. I have installed many aircooled VW distributors and have never had to use as much force as I did with this one. I ended up removing the deck lid so I could have enough room to force it in. At least I can be positive it will never leak oil. The cap fit did not fit properly and shifted while the engine was running. I installed a cap from Kragen and it works great now. Not a big deal, more annoying than a real problem. I get better gas mileage and the engine definitely runs better than it did with the stock distributor."
