"THIS SYSTEM I GOT FOR X-MAS FOR MY WIFES TRUCK IT WORKS BETTER IF YOU GET THE HARD WIRE PIECE (EXTRA) YOU DONT GET AS MUCH STATIC HOWEVER YOU WILL PICK UP OTHER CAMERAS WHILE DRIVING FAST FOOD, STORES ECT... Great Buy reception Problems can be fixed!,December 7, 2008

Pros: Came as promised, Works GREAT as A WIRED UNIT which is a simple fix! Cons: Reception if not used as a "WIRED"unit. Would have given it 5 stars if it had come with the extra wire to hardwire it!
"I purchased this unit for less than 1/2 of the Price of anyone else on the web or even at my local WalMart store from JCW! I am using it on the rear of my Travel Trailer with NO PROBLEMS because it gives you the option to wire it in direct instead of using the Wireless transmitter which only has a range of 19'! I purchased 2 of the 25' wires that just plug into the camera and the screen. The upside of this is: 1. No problem with interference from other cameras, Baby Monitors, Cell phones or anything else that might interupt the Wireless signal. 2. Because you hook it up this way the camera can be placed on the back of a trailer. I ran 1 of the 25' wires from the camera to the front of the trailer and another one from the Screen to the back of my truck and "attached" the 2 wires together with included plugs beside my normal trailer light connection when towing my trailer. Hooked up this way you do not have to connect a power source to the Screen because it gets it's Power through the wire that connects to the camera and then connects to the back up lights that is included. You actually have less clutter and less wires to connect using it as a wired camera than you do as a "Wireless" camera. The cables are available from the manufacturer or Radio Shack. (just a 1/8th inch stereo plug with a shielded wire) So, you can spend some of the money you save by buying this unit from JCW on the extra cables and actually have a "WIRED" back up camera for about a fourth of the cost of any other "Wired" system out there! And, have a unit that is equivelent to a system that costs $350 or more! Again Great Buy if used as a wired system and a fair system if used on a short vehicle where the distance between the camera and the screen is less than 19'! With it's ability to mirror image it makes backing my trailer into a camping spot as easy as pie! Plus, I mounted mine with Velcro so I can actually use it either on my trailer or a quick change to use it on the back of my truck! So, NO MORE having my wife stand out in the cold or heat and shout: a little to the left, now straight back, now a little to the right """CRASH""" O.K. honey, stop there it looks good!...LOL"

Pros: Easy to install Cons: Interferance
"The system is easy to install but does not always work if under power lines or near other camers that use radio waves. I use the camera on my 1989 Fleetwood because you can not see the truck or end of the car from the drivers seat."

You get what you pay for .... Almost,August 30, 2007

Pros: This unit was small and unobtrusive. It was right in front of me when I needed it but didn't block my view when driving. Cons: Very poor intermittent picture quality.
"When backing a A class motorhome I need completely reliable picture. What I got was an intermittent fuzzy picture. I expected a small degree of static with a wireless system but this was easily more static than picture. Instillation was fairly simple but the directions were also vague and offered no troubleshooting to get the most out of the unit. If I had seen it work before buying it, I would have passed and spent the extra cash for the reliabality."
