2005 Chevy CrewCab,

Pros: Perfect fit, easy installation, looks beautiful
Cons: Horrible instrustions, don't care for the visible clip on the rear windows
"I never write reviews, but I am so impressed with these that I just had to share the good news. These are well-built, easy to install(in a 2005 Chevy CrewCab Silverado) and don't seem to negatively affect the power windows at all. It took me about 15min to install after meticulously reading the horrible instructions book and finally tossing it. Fortunately, they are a "no-brainer" to install. The front goes in easily with no clips or tape or anything in about 30 seconds. The rear ones are a little harder. The instructions say to measure to 15 5/6s of an inch or some such ridiculous thing, but all you have to do, in place the rear rain guards in the window channel, mark a line on the rubber next to the holes in the guards (obvious once you buy and look at them), and then line the clip up with your line (eye balling it is easy) I highly, absolutely, definately recommend this product. Also, I went 65mph and didn't notice any wind noise caused by these. It did muffle the wind noise when I cracked my windows 1 inch compared to not having these rain guards. Spend the money if you love the high-quality look and you won't regret it."

Pros: Very easy to install, no tape, allows window to be rolled down when the weather is bad.
Cons: None as of yet
"Installed these on my 02 chrysler concorde limited. Very nice product by WeatherTech. Much better than the competitor - Auto Ventshade, for the no-tape application of the product. Just wish they made them for the rear windows for this model vehicle."

MUCH better than stick-ons,
January 13, 2009

Pros: NO TAPE. Fit great, stupid simple installation
Cons: None that I can come up with
"Bought these for my sister's Avalance for Christmas after seeing another brand's stick-ons on my mom's Silverado and I gotta tell ya, hands down these are by far the best of the two. Install (on Christmas Day mind you) took all of 10 minutes on all 4 windows, and most of that was measuring for the clips on the back windows. The clips I was actually worried about @ first, but once the deflectors are in you have to look very closely to notice them. The finished look is much cleaner that the stick-on versions and they won't come unstuck!! I understand that these are a bit more expensive than some of the competitors, but there's a reason; bottom line, spend the extra $$$"

Pros: easy to install and look GREAT!!!!
Cons: none
"I bought these for my son's truck. They are fantastic!! They look great, don't stick out much so the truck still has a slim line look! My son is very pleased with them! A great product! A lot better looking than the ones that stick on with two sided tape. I am very glad I purchased these instead of some of the others I looked at! They are GREAT!!! I highly recommend these!! You will not be dissappointed!"

Pros: Easy to install
Cons: None
"Received product in 2 days. My husband had them installed in less than 5 minutes. Was very glad to see they had a darker tint than description would have you think.Fit my 2001 Montana so well, got a set for 2002 S-10 crew cab and they are just as nice. One thing though, windows are very tight when first installed but after using for awhile the shades seat well and have no problem with window going all the way up. Great purchase."

Pros: Great look, keeps rain out, easy to install
Cons: Issues when installing on a Kia Sportage
"I've bought 4 sets of these for myself and one for a friend. My 4 sets have been an absolute breeze to install. I'm not a "mechanically inclined" gal, but even I had no trouble installing these. Just peel off all the labels, make sure the logo is at the back side of the window, roll the window 1/2 way down, and stick the front end into the window channel and snug it to the bottom of the window ledge, force the back end into the window channel about 3 inches from the top, then start manipulating the vent into place, working from front to back. The easiest way to describe this part is to imagine "tucking" the vent part into the channel. Kind of grasp it with both hands and "lift" a little with your thumbs under the vent and bend it "under and up" into the channel. Sounds weird, but as soon as you try one, you'll go "Oh, yeah, that's what she meant". The driver's door was easiest for me, so I'd start with that one if you haven't done these before. They beat the "stick-on" kind all to pieces. Literally. I've had both and I'll never go back. After a few months, the stick on ones start to let go and chatter in the breeze when you're driving, not to mention how they wreck your paint job and rust the top of your windows. With this style, there's no down side. It's all good. Except: on my friend's Kia Sportage: the 2 back vents (she has a 4 door) were an absolute bear!! Wouldn't fit right and stay in place for anything. They kept sliding down into the channel on the back side, as if they were just not made right. Finally we just gave up and wedged them in as tight as we could get, and she rolled the windows up on them while I held them in place. She didn't use her back windows for a couple days, and that constant pressure has held them so far, but admittedly, we haven't gone tugging on them or anything, just in case! But they are staying in place now, so hopefully all is well. As far as my Fords, they fit like they were factory made & they look so good, everybody wants to know where I got them. You won't regret this if you just try them! It's so nice now to smoke in the rain and not get wet!"

Pros: Great product - perfect fit for my 2006 Raider. Great looking, keeps rain and wind out, and idiot-proof to install.
"I searched everywhere locally for wind deflectors, and then resorted to an old standby - JC Whitney, this time online. Found my product easily, made the buy, and put them on my truck with 0 hassle - good delivery, no mistakes, and a product precisely as advertised. Can't go wrong when it's that easy!"
