"I found this product to be a perfect match to the one I had to replace.I saved over 40 dollars and received the Radiator within a week.So I did not have to drive with a bad radiator to go to the parts store and spend lots more money LOL.The savings and having it come to my home was a great relief for me.I will always check JCWhitney first before wasting time and money going to the parts stores.

"Arrived fast and installed with ease but I did not notice that the drain valve had been damaged. I filled the radiator only to have it leak out the damaged valve. Customer service was the best to deal with. I returned the radiator and they paid for shipping and gave me a complete refund. I purchase a higher quality radiator with a metal tank"

"This whole thing was awsom. From the customer service checking with the manufacture to make sure that this was going to fit my truck to. To the quick chage over, drain the old one, pull out the old one, put in the new one and refill with new fluid. Couldn't have been easier! No adjusting anything to "make it fit"."

"You know its hard to match parts on a truck 30 years old! When JCW tells you its an exact match, believe it. My radiator was IDENTICAL!! Now what's equally good is that it was crated good enough to not receive any freight damage. I receive freight daily at my job and I can tell you freight damage is very common. GOOD JOB SHIPPING DEPT."

Pros: Very easy installation. 4 bolts, 2 hoses and your done.
Cons: About 75% size of the OE radiator. Didn't expect that, but hopefully should work OK.

"Delivery was speedy. Only a couple of days. When I opened the box for receipt inspection I saw the radiator appeared somewhat smaller than the OE on the jeep. After removing the old one, it was obvious the replacement was only about 3/4 the size. It did fit however, due to large, wide flanges on either side, which also had the replacement oriented a bit off to one side and not centered. It seems to perform well and workmanship looks adequate."

"I got this for a jeep wrangler. It bolted up easy and came with everything to install it. What a great price, i shopped around and you cant beat this deal. I would highly reccomend this product. Totally satisfied. Doesnt take long to install, very simple. If you need a radiator look no farther get this one. It will work with and automatic or manual transmission."

"The radiator seemed fine but I could not use for my car. I purchased radiator for a 2003 Saturn Ion and instead of a radiator for screw in transmission lines they one with quick connect. They did not ask me to specify which type I had, so if there are different types of transmission lines for your vehicle you may want to check with them before you order to avoid a delay."

Pros: Excellent direct fit replacement for my 1997 Dodge 1500. Easy install, all new isolators provided!
Cons: Shipped with very little protective packing in the box. Some of the cooling fins were a little bent when opened.

"I'd recommend this replacement radiator with one caveat - save the transmission coupling valves from your factory radiator. My hoses were in good shape, and since I am never in the mood for machanical work, I did not replace them. The coupling valves on the replacement radiator were slightly smaller and smooth, so I was never able to obtain a good seal at the hose/coupling connection site. I removed the old, factory couplings and used them in place of the couplings provided. Worked like a champ. I recommend you start your replacement project with time and patience to spare. Removing and installing the old and new radiator, respectively, might be difficult and take time given the tight engine compartment space and placement of screws. Overall, great product! Took less than an hour from start to finish."

1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Radiator Replacement, June 12, 2008

Pros: Whitney's replacement radiator was an exact copy of the factory part in every detail.
Cons: Installation required removal of the whole front end of the vehicle. Need a replacement instruction pamphlet.

"Whitney's replacement radiator is a better value than any local supplier could offer - hands down.
It was shipped on time and arrived in excellent condition due to great packaging. Not sure why it required a $10 "heavy item" surcharge as it is a very light weight assembly of aluminum and plastic.
It was a perfect fit replacement for the factory radiator, but the whole front end of the vehicle had to be removed to accomplish the swap. This is not the radiator's fault, of course, but it sure would have been nice to have a brief instruction pamphlet included that listed the key removal and replacement steps in order. Perhaps that's too much to ask/expect.
Once installed, the product works extremely well, allowing the vehicle to run at the factory setting of 210 degrees F even with the AC running flat out on a hot day.
I would recommend this product to anyone who has the stomach to tear the whole front end of their vehicle apart!"

"The radiator was constructed very well, an exact fit, and I had no trouble installing it. It performs flawlessly.
My only complaint is that the included radiator cap was in several pieces when received, and the center button appeared to melt when installed, preventing the cap from venting, and drawing back from the overflow tank upon cooldown."
