Purchased the front a few months ago and put it on the front of my Yamaha 650 V-star. I just inspected and reused the old tube and carefully squeezed the new Kenda over the rim. Don’t be discouraged that it is a tubeless tire to be put on a wheel with a tube..it went on smoothly and even balanced out perfectly without any added weights, which I do myself by holding the axle and counterbalancing the heavy side down. I saved the two weights that were wrapped around the spokes from the former “Dunlop” tire, and maybe..just maybe I’ll need them to balance out my rear tire which I am about to order. I recently took my v-star to Daytona Biketober Fest and I could ride it “hands free” when I pushed it to about 80 mph for a short while. Otherwise, it cruises perfectly at 70. The “Kenda” tire that I have been riding on now for about 4 thousand miles has performed as well, or better, than any other tire that I have ever ridden. My former bike was a Gold Wing Aspencade (nearly a 900 pounder) for 83,000 miles and about every 9000 miles I changed out the tires. The last 3 times it was also another Chinese brand named “Cheng Shin” which I was also very happy with, but they do not make the sport tire size for my newer and lighter v-star.
I’ve been buying (a few) items over the past few centuries of my life from J.C. and have NEVER had a problem in ANY of the process. I’m glad they’re still around, like me, now 57, and will continue to take advantage of their good deals and products.
