Avoid, February 12, 2010
By Anonymous from Southington CT

"Bought two of these horns and both failed withing a short period of time. Installed in gaaraged vehicles. Threw the first one in the trash, and now the second one sounds like it has been hit with a hammer. Not worth the money, at all!"

Cheap for a reason, July 21, 2009
By Vahn from Alberta, Canada

Pros: Loud, easy install
Cons: Cheap finish, not the advertised 139dbs, mine broke

"Poor construction, and a low quality finish. Drip marks on the surface. I tested the horn after I wired all of the components and it worked fine. It quit working later that day. The compressor is still making noise but the horn is not. I plan on returning the horn and buying a similar priced electric horn."

LOUD, June 8, 2009
By ACRanger

Pros: Easy install
Cons: Had to make an adapter

"Other than having to make an adapter (A strip of Stainless Steel did it), this was a pretty easy install. So far, using it straight from the horn button. It IS very loud."

Mounting Problem, April 29, 2009
By VN1600

Pros: Definitely has the decibels for a motorcyclist!
Cons: Mounting problem on my Vulcan 1600 Classic

"I haven't gotten to use it yet, still trying to find a place and way to mount it on my 2005 Vulcan 1600 Classic. It reads to mount vertically and in a DRY location. Dry? On a motorcycle may be hard to keep dry when traveling and washing, so I am a bit worried about that. Still waiting to see if support can help me on mounting it."

Wolo horn, February 26, 2009
By Davidsreview from Suisun City, CA (between Sac and S.F.)

Pros: Very loud, just what a motorcycle needs

"Installed on a Honda VTX 1300R. Did need to install relay which came with it(fuse blew when hooked up directly to horn wires). Took some time to install correctly. Removed seat, added fuse directly to battery, hooked up relay in the fuse area of bike, and ran wires in a sleeving under fuel tank to front of bike. Used bracket from an old after market horn and attached to side of top radiator with existing bolt. I am a firm believer in a motorcycle having a loud horn."

Loud enough to wake 'em up, February 17, 2009
By bones109 from Mobile, Al

Pros: Ease of installation, up in less than 15 min.
Cons: Finish is sub-par

"The compressor cover is not chromed properly, and the horn cover is plasti-chrome. Works for applications where you don't want a large set of horns hanging off your bike."

Pros: Ear shattering- LOUD!!!!
Cons: challenging to install

"What a great upgrade on my M50, from a meep meep, road runner sounding stock suzuki horn to a ear drum deafening Bad Boy! The chrome finish made it blend right into my installation.

It took a bit of effort to fabricate a mount, purchase and properly fish through, heat shrink-wrap all the wires, & purchase a fuse holder ... but the results were worth the effort!
2 thumbs up! Now i WILL be heard, which makes this Bad Boy very, very GOOD!!!

Excellent product, January 2, 2009
By lilritchie from florida

Pros: Easy to mount, sound is perfect for what it is intended.
Cons: none

"It will fit where most stock horns mount. Sound is excellent, and mounting is a breeze with the 1 hole mount. Big noise in a small package."

Good sound, NOT Amtrak, December 13, 2008
By ScooterDude from Central California

Pros: Much louder than stock, but doesn't cause avalanches.
Cons: One bolt mounting, IF you have the right place to mount.

"I got a piece of Aluminum @ OSH and made a small mount. Drilled a couple holes, polished it out, and it turned out great, looks great and sounds Great!"

Pros: REALLY loud!

"This horn was very easy to install on my Harley Dyna. Took less than 20 minutes. Last week it saved me from a bad wreck when a lady (clearly not paying attention, she had been talking to her passenger) failed to yield right of way-right turn on red. I was turning left onto a one way feeder road and she turned right, into my lane. I laid on the horn and she jerked her head around and saw me about 2 feet from her minivan.
GREAT horn!!!

Quality/Construction: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

Pros: Compact Design
Cons: Sound Tone

"I am very pleased with this horn. I must say I was expecting a "big rig" sound, but what I got I'm very satisfied with. I have a 2005 Mazda Miata and the stock horn could not be heard on the freeway. I read some of the previous reviews and concentrated on wire size. I went to the junk yard and got a 12V starter solenoid. I used #10 wire from my positive battery connection thru a 20amp fuse to one side of the solenoid. I used #10 wire from the solenoid to the horn(+), and #10 wire from the horn (-) to chassis ground. I put a double spade connection on my stock horn. One side of the connection I used for the horn wire, the other side I ran a #18 wire to the solenoid. I used this design so I could keep the car as stock as possible, and didn't want to be feeling around for another horn button when I needed it.
When I hit the horn button I was pleasantly surprised. The horns are much louder than stock, but the tone fits the car.
