Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Foam ball pulled off top when extending

"It is not listed as being used for goose-neck trailer but I couldn't see my hitch in the bed of my truck, so I thought I would try it. I only need one and I set it in front of ball in the bed of the truck and backed up till the aligning ball touches the goose-neck. Saves me time from getting in and out of the truck to see where I need to go. The foam ball did pull off the end when trying to extend it but slid right back on."

"I actually tried to make something like this myself, but it didn't really turn out. These are great, and I don't find myself hopping in and out of the truck to make sure I'm dead on, these little gems do it for you. What I did was first got trailer and truck hitched, THEN put these in place, and marked where they should be. So now every time I slap these on, I put them in the right spot on the tongue and the hitch. Store compactly, and have two foam balls at the top of telescoping steel rods. Magnets are pretty good, they hold in place well...if they are on a flat area. Not so much if they are on rounded top of tongue."
