Pros: Went on OK Cons: Hinge is sloppy
"The Billet Gas Cover that I recieved for my '99 Silverado had a very sloppy hinge which made the door rub on the frame. That along with both of the adjustment screws for the magnet stripped out & it was impossible to open the door. I had to retap the holes for a bigger screw & then I made an aluminum knob & screwed it fast to the door so I could open it. Now the 8 screws around the frame are leaving stain marks on the aluminum. It does look better than the factory door that was rusting really bad."

Pros: Very easy to install and it looks like a million bucks! Cons: It is flat in shape while the side of the vehicle is slightly rounded.
"I own a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 extended cab 4x4. The old cover was starting to rust from the inside and making the paint blister on the outside. This product does not have a picture on the internet, but I took the chance and ordered it anyway. The price was right and I didn't want a cover that locked. When I received the cover in the mail and opened it, it was everything I had hoped for! Beautiful brushed aluminum and good quality construction! Installation was a breeze and the instructions were adaquete. One thing to mention here is that when you go to tighten the 30mm screws that go into the rubber sleeves... keep on turning until they get tight. This sucks the rubber in tight and doesn't allow the cap to be sloppy fitting. Great looking product and it will never rust!"
