Not too crazy about it, December 19, 2008
By PastorGumby from Fair Haven, NJ

Pros: Easy to use, portable, quick on/off
Cons: Doesn't work well on my ride

"I bought this for my suzuki burgman400 - but i have double thickness on the grips, as I put foam grip puppies over the existing, original rubber grips. The thickness makes this standard sized crampbuster not as effective, as it gets stuck. Great idea, but i don't use it. My suzuki M50 has a built in kuryakyn throttle boss, and they work awesome! Same principle but they are built into the ends of each grip. Perhaps, the thicker crampbuster would be a better choice. Either way, I'm not crazy about it on my burgman."

Pros: easy install

"The only throttle control I have found that does not slip down while you ride. Easy on and off. I use it on both my Shadow 1100 and V Star 1100"

Pros: Works as advertised
Cons: Takes some getting used to.

"I bought the short fat version for my 1987 Honda Rebel. This product comes with a rubber ring that fits on the throtle and grabs hold of the tab as you press down.
This allows me to ride without haveing to keep a constant grip. At first, I had a tendancy to press down on it while breaking, but I adjusted the thing to the point where it doesn't happen anymore."

Pros: It really does help for longer rides especially if you have carpal tunnel syndrom
Cons: Tends to slip a bit and need repositioning at times.

"Pretty much as I said in the pros and cons. I have it on a DR650 with the narrow factory grip and it tends to slide out of position sometimes but this is easily corrected. Over-all I would say that I'm really glad that I bought it."

Pros: works well
Cons: to adjust at highway speeds is a bit difficult

"it works great, just make sure you get it where you want it before you get on the highway, letting off the throttle to adjust where your palm goes is a bit of a pain."
