Pros: This is a very solid deflector when installed properly Cons: Drilling into the hood.
"This deflector is installed with screws not tape or the OEM plastic push inserts. I have had several on different vehicles. This is the most secure, but, you must drill holes into the underside of the hood for the attaching screws. Not a problem with an extra set of hands."

"It took me a minute to figure out how the mounting hardware worked. So, I suppose the directions could have been more clear (or maybe it's me). Anyway, mounting was a simple job which didn't require any hood alterations. Good product."

"This bug screen, really changed the appearance of my truck, wow it looks GREAT. I only had a little trouble with the small metal clips staying in place while I was trying to attach. They should come with a extra piece - as I did lose one while installing ... and have yet to find it. But it is still attached in three other spots, and so the one missing hasn't made any difference. Very tight fit. Would recommend to others, for this price, It is a very good deal and great looking also."

"I just installed this on a 2007 Tahoe. It took me longer to throw away the box , then it did to install the deflector. It really was as simple as stated. Pop in 4 inserts, and attach with 4 screws."

"2000 Tundra Access cab. I was skeptical but ended up very impressed with this product. It looks MUCH better than the "national brand" that I had damaged in an accident. The installation sounded a little iffy and with my fresh paint job I was hesitant to use the hood clips but the little protective pads did the trick. Once installed it looks far better than the previous one and does not vibrate or wiggle in the wind. Probably could be a little thicker but for the price this is a great buy!"

"I was worried about the do-it yourself installation of this product on my 2006 F150 Supercrew. I wasn't exactly sure how it would fit on my hood with the grill. The directions were so simple and easy to follow, I think my 11 year old could have installed on my truck.
Looks great and was so simple to install. Total install time start to finish was about 30 minutes. That included going back down to the basement to get my other screwdriver. All you need is a 9MM socket wrench, Phillips screwdriver, and a marker to mark two locations."

"Installed on a 2004 Z71 extended cab Chevrolet. This thing went on in less than five minutes. Instructions were accurate and easy to understand. It looks great too. The material seems a bit flimsy, but with it installed, it is pretty solid. Go ahead a go cheap here, it looks like a good product so far."

"Installed on a 95 GMC K1500...
This product is good quality. Price does mean things. This product is made for a varity of vehicles and should fit most applications well. The tabs for the holes line up well and comes with all the items needed to mount quickly. It took little effort to get this mounted, the hardest part was opening the box!
I would highly recommend this product. I had to give it a 3 star rating because I would have liked it to be a bit thicker."
